The small idyllic town of Crystal Keyes, Florida appears to be like any other sleepy beach hideaway. The locals are friendly, the tourists can't get enough and the whole town seems to be at the height of economic success with their new mayor. But underneath the picture perfect facade, the ones who appear the happiest and the most content are the most miserable of all: the teenagers.
Enter Crystal Keyes High School, fifteen miles from the beach and five miles from the only other school in town: St. James Beach Academy - the private prep school. There is a bitter rivalry between the elitist students that go there. But BHA is definitely in the lead. Just go behind the double doors and you'll see. The Untouchables - the three rich, beautiful and fabulous girls who run things. Their boyfriends, friends and associates are ready to make their Senior Year the best year ever.
But it gets worse before it gets better. The star football player is finally being released from SeaView Mental Institution, the mayor's prim and proper daughter is a huge dealer and the most lovely and adored of all the choir singers has finally been released from the hospital after a deadly night on the town gone wrong. But everyday there is a new secret discovered and more people band together to sweep it under the rug. This year, there's something in the air. It's warning everyone that this year is going to be different. Someone's secrets are going to be exposed and pray for mercy, because when they do... all hell will break loose.
